Ultimate Caregiver Groupcoming together to support caregivers

What we do

Three ways we support caregivers

Every program is built around one idea: strengthen the caregiver, and you strengthen the whole family.

Caregiver education

We meet caregivers where they are with practical, expert-led learning throughout the year:

  • A monthly video series across six expert areas, carrying caregiver education far beyond any single room.
  • Free bi-monthly gatherings in Murfreesboro — expert education paired with a hot lunch, caregiver recognition, and connection to resources — through our partnership with the Mayor’s office.
  • An annual conference — our first, in January 2026, brought 101 people together, with 78 in the room.

Direct assistance

The Caregiver Assistance Fund

The Caregiver Assistance Fund helps caregivers and their care recipients meet real, verified needs — prescriptions, transportation, food, and utilities among them.

Wherever possible, UCG pays the vendor directly — the pharmacy, the utility, the transportation provider — so help arrives cleanly and with dignity. Every need is verified before it is supported.

The Butterfly Wish program

For a care recipient facing a terminal diagnosis and their caregiver, the Butterfly Wish program provides a one-time experience — a family dinner, a short trip to see relatives, a day at the coast — a moment of meaning when it matters most.

Connection to resources

The support caregivers need often already exists — it’s just hard to find and harder to navigate alone. UCG connects family caregivers to the local, state, and federal resources available to them, and answers the questions that come up along the way.

At our January 2026 conference alone, we answered 98 requests for information.
